INTRODUCTION

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps that Clover Group has taken, and continues to take, to ensure that modern slavery or human trafficking is not taking place within our business or supply chains.

At Clover Group, we are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships. We recognise our responsibility to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking and to safeguard the human rights of those who may be affected by our activities.

a. Organisation’s Structure, Business and Supply Chains

Clover Group is a freight forwarder, operating in the international logistics industry. We provide freight forwarding & logistics services to customers across the world.

Our supply chain includes other logistics partners, and we work with both UK-based and international suppliers.

We have implemented policies that demonstrate our commitment to combating modern slavery, including:

  • Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy
  • Supplier Code of Conduct
  • Ethical Trading Policy
  • Whistleblowing Policy (providing a mechanism for staff and stakeholders to report concerns)

These policies are reviewed regularly to ensure they remain effective and aligned with legislation and best practice.

c. Due Diligence Processes

We apply due diligence processes to identify, prevent, and mitigate the risks of modern slavery. These include:

  • Conducting risk-based assessments of suppliers and contractors.
  • Requiring suppliers to confirm compliance with anti-slavery legislation and ethical standards.
  • Incorporating modern slavery clauses into supplier contracts.
  • Engaging with suppliers to promote transparency and ethical practices.

d. Risk Assessment and Management

We recognise that certain areas of our business and supply chain may present a higher risk of modern slavery.

To mitigate these risks, we:

  • Carry out supplier audits where appropriate.
  • Prioritise working with suppliers who demonstrate strong ethical standards.
  • Act promptly if any non-compliance is identified.

e. Measuring Effectiveness

We assess the effectiveness of our approach through the following indicators:

  • Number of supplier audits conducted.
  • Supplier contract compliance rates.
  • Reports raised via whistleblowing channels.
  • Completion rates of modern slavery training by employees.

No instances of modern slavery or human trafficking have been identified in our operations or supply chains during this reporting period.

f. Training and Capacity Building

We recognise the importance of equipping our staff with the knowledge to identify and respond to risks of modern slavery. We provide:

  • Mandatory training for employees on recognising and reporting signs of modern slavery.
